Lindsey is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider. She earned her BA from the University of Washington and her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University. She specializes in ADHD management, Anxiety and related disorders, and issues related to Trauma. She has received additional training in multiple trauma related treatment approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma informed hypnosis, and mindfulness/breath work.
When not in the therapy room, you can find Lindsey practicing Yoga and Tai Chi, digging in her garden, or sitting someplace pretty with a good cup of coffee. Lindsey appreciates a well folded tee-shirt, an expertly paced tv show, and the sound that canning jars make when they form a good seal.
Lindsey utilizes other modalities in session, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and PsychoEducation (learning about the brain and body) as part of treatment planning tailored specifically to each client's unique needs and strengths. She has a background in the mind/body connection, the brain and it's interactions with behavior and environment, meditation and mindfulness techniques, nutrition and exercise. She is also passionate about undoing generational trauma so that parents can be more comfortable around and connect better with their kiddos.
Lindsey prioritizes evidence-based treatment approaches in all of her work with clients. She uses a variety of tools to achieve holistic health.
Lindsey currently works in network with Premera and Regence insurance. For other insurance, please enquire about superbills or out of network benefits.
