I am a graduate student in the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Seattle Pacific University and a recent empty nester with two adult daughters also in the field of psychology and neuroscience! After years in hi-tech, I am excited to be pivoting into a career focused on the human element. Personal fulfillment is an elusive thing as we find ourselves on a journey of twists and turns. We deal with traumas and transitions that can leave us empty, frustrated, or wondering if we are broken. Having personally worked through many traumas, I am grateful to bring perspective as I help clients navigate their personal challenges. I am here to tell you; joy is within reach.
I invite you into a space of authenticity, openness, respect, and no judgment. From this stance, we will consider presenting problems through an IFS (Internal Family Systems) lens that is evidence-base and grounded in neuroscience. I may also draw on other modalities including (Solution-Focused, Narrative, CBT, DBT/ACT, EFT, and Gottman) to meet your goals. I often utilize somatic tools and positive imagery to address an over-functioning nervous system and reduce anxiety. Together, we will respectfully explore the parts of you that are working hard on your behalf to protect injuries, but which may be undermining your relationships and well-being. Ultimately, my desire is to help you become self-led to create and maintain balance and harmony internally and with those in your life. I would be honored to accompany you along this part of your journey.
I accept Ambetter, Community Health Plan of Washington, and Coordinated Care Washington State Insurance Plans as well as an out of network rate of $60 per hour.
