About Emerald
Like all of us, I am many things. Things I am letting go of and things I am becoming.
Like you, I am on a journey of learning, loving, evolving and healing.
I am a medicine maker of Life that is beautiful and messy.
I am humbled by life experiences that invite me to recreate, restructure and renew again and again. I am a therapist because I am continually beckoned to return to an ache that never stops aching – a fierce knowing that love and connection is our birthright and that this truth can never truly be stolen from us.
I exalt our wounds as portals for our healing.
As an herbalist and previous embodiment coach, I see our body as deeply connected to the body of the Earth. I draw on the symbolism in the cycles and rhythms of nature as language for meaning making. I bring an unwavering devotion to meet people in their humanness, in the full spectrum of their experience – from shadow to light and from pain and joy.

Approach
Let me draw on a powerful symbol from my Iranian heritage: the tapestry. The interwoven threads of a tapestry beautifully represent the interconnectedness of humanity. What happens to one thread happens to all threads. We depend on each other. Without a single thread the tapestry is incomplete.
That’s why we need you!
None of us are exempt from our responsibility of weaving our thread.
You are not alone.
I’m here as your witness, steward and guide to journey with you to weave your unique thread in our collective tapestry.
Relationships (with ourselves and with others) are worlds within themselves where we get to rewrite our stories empowering ourselves to create positive outcomes in our lives. I believe in the power of interrupting stories that inhibit us and perpetuate cycles of pain and separation. I see our wounds as shaped by more than just our family of origin. They are also shaped by the systems we live in. I wish to help people reauthor their story with new narratives that support our individual and collective healing.
The tapestry shows us that repairing our individual threads strengthens our collective tapestry. When we heal ourselves, we heal each other. Interconnectedness is our superpower binding our collective power to heal.
I am committed to being of service to folks weaving their thread into our collective tapestry.

I accept most Washington State Insurance Plans as well as an out of network rate of $40 per hour.
