Do you ever feel like life has become stagnant or feel like there are barriers between where you are and where you’d like to be? I enjoy working with individuals and couples to become more aware and understand the barriers that stand between them and living their life to the fullest. There are so many different experiences in life that can lead us to struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, and relationships that can feel difficult to navigate on our own. As a result, they may impact our view of ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us, together, we can explore these impacts.
My style is mostly collaborative with warm direction when needed. In my work, I utilize a person-centered approach that promotes a uniquely tailored therapeutic style to each client based upon their own individual needs, experiences, and goals. I also utilize emotion-focused therapy in my work with both individuals and couples to promote secure relationships and connections.
Along with traditional talk therapy, I also offer therapy sessions that integrate movement through walking or running. Research has shown that exercise and movement can greatly reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression and increase self-esteem.
