
I’m an MFT intern at Antioch University with a background that weaves together clinical training, crisis work, creative practice, and lived experience. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an editor and literary translator—work that deepened my appreciation for the power of language, nuance, and narrative. I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients in high-intensity settings, including at a crisis clinic and with veterans at the VA, and I bring that grounding into my current work. I also have experience supporting individuals working through religious trauma, and I approach that work with deep care, humility, and respect. As a mother, I understand how relational systems shape us in profound and lasting ways. I believe healing doesn’t happen in isolation; we’re all shaped by our communities, cultures, structures, and ecosystems as well as the multigenerational legacies we carry.
In my free time I enjoy all my favorite hobbies—spending time outdoors, with friends and family, and in the endless worlds of literature—but I also love learning new skills. Most recently this has meant learning how to row and deepening my meditation practice.
I approach therapy as a collaborative, non-judgmental process rooted in curiosity, compassion, and respect for your lived story. My work is informed by Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Structural Therapy with a strong emphasis on somatic awareness—tuning in to the body as a source of wisdom and presence. I believe in the healing power of bringing what’s been hidden into the light, and in reauthoring the stories that no longer serve us. As Toni Morrison wrote, “If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.” I see therapy as a space where that kind of writing—and rewriting—can happen.
I work relationally and gently, with an openness to humor and the belief that befriending the self is central to growth. Community, nature, and storytelling are at the heart of how I understand transformation.
