Melanie is currently an intern through Seattle University, working towards her Master of Arts Degree in Couples and Family Therapy.
Prior to graduate school, Melanie received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at Arizona State University, and has had the opportunity to work and collaborate with individuals of all backgrounds throughout her schooling. Her approach is systemic, with a
focus towards cognitive behavior therapy.
Melanie invites individuals to share their truths and experiences in a safe and comfortable space. She believes that each and every person should be able to voice themselves and feel supported in their journey throughout life. Melanie believes that each and every
person’s experiences are unique and therefore, utilizes a systemic approach for the flexibility of treating clients with an intervention that is best-suited for them. She also focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as these elements can have great effects on one another.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys drawing, painting, exercise, film, and music. She takes time out of each day to participate in one thing that she loves as a dedication to self-care and self-love.
